We work the team on two layers at once: each leader individually, and the team as a unit. The unit of work is how you decide, argue, recover, execute, and celebrate together.

Engagements typically combine team-level facilitation with one-on-one coaching for each leader, and use assessments like the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) and Collective Leadership Assessment (CLA) to surface what the team can’t yet see about itself. When the team is leading a technology or AI change, we pair this with the consulting work on the Tech & Transformation page.

We coach CEOs, founders, and senior executives one-on-one. Most engagements run a year or more, weekly or every other week, with text and email support between sessions.

The work covers vision, strategy, hard decisions, hiring and firing, board relationships, conflict, communication, and whatever else is shaping those decisions. Our coaching approach explains what that means.

We bring thirty years of running companies and training in multiple modalities: Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), Co-Active Leadership, Accelerating Coach Excellence (ACE), Leadership Circle Profile (LCP), and Collective Leadership Assessment (CLA).

Some people are bestowed with a bright light and I believe there is responsibility with that brightness: to help others find, facilitate and flip their light on. This is really where I truly believe Nick thrives as a coach. I have successfully cut ties with those draining relationships and organizations with his help.

Breakthrough is our marquee workshop, a three-day immersion that has been delivered for decades to leadership teams at some of the largest companies in the world (Maersk, Adidas, Deutsche Bahn, Disney/ESPN, HP, Flextronics, GoPro). We learned it from our friend and mentor Elan, who built it. It’s a complete framework (Breakthrough Thinking, Breakthrough in Action, and Breakthrough Clearings) for getting an entire organization unstuck and aligned around results that previously seemed impossible.

We build custom workshops fresh for the team and the moment they’re called for: AI literacy for leaders, creating a feedback culture, sharpening decision-making, navigating founder and co-founder dynamics, improving communication, aligning on values, upgrading mental models. We design and deliver, virtual or in person.

Most offsites are endured. Ours are the rare ones people are glad they came to. We design and run offsites that move the work forward, for executive teams, founders, and invite-only peer groups. You can hand us just the programming and facilitation, or the whole thing: pre-work, agenda, location, facilitation on the day, and the follow-through that makes it stick. What comes out of it is trust, hard conversations, and sharper strategy.

We also host our own retreats in beautiful places: immersive, built around the work that brought everyone there, and free of the worksheets that get left at the airport.

We help founders, funds, and organizations build and run conferences and summits, from intimate invite-only gatherings to multi-day industry events. We do the programming, the speaker curation, the on-stage interviewing, the emceeing, and the group facilitation, plus the connective tissue between sessions that decides whether the whole thing adds up to anything.

For individuals, we offer the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP), the most rigorous, data-driven 360° leadership assessment we know of. For entire teams, we offer the Collective Leadership Assessment (CLA), which measures how your company thinks your leadership team is doing as a combined unit. We follow with debriefs, coaching, and a working plan for what to do with what you find.
